Boombox Classroom is written and produced by music teachers, radio professionals, and symphony players using world and classical music. Each episode includes age-appropriate activity sheets for each child and provides 36 music lessons a year. Boombox Classroom is curriculum-based, creative, and FUN! This program is FREE to school districts, teachers, and kids via their local radio station, because it's supported by underwriting. Boombox Classroom does NOT require a professional music teacher in the classroom. Boombox Classroom DOES promote increased cognitive development in all areas of learning. The programs integrate right-brained and left-brained skills by using associated literacy, geography, and math components. Adult listeners love it too! We help find local sponsorship, we coordinate with local radio stations to air the shows during the school day, and we work with teachers to get the programs into the classrooms. If you are interested in Boombox Classroom for children in your school district, contact producer Marty Ronish at mronish@flash.net.
