In December, Seattle’s Early Music Guild and Pacific Musicworks honor the 400th anniversary of Monteverdi’s stunning Vespers of 1610 with two performances in St. James Cathedral, the most beautiful acoustical space for this music in the Pacific Northwest. Directed by Stephen Stubbs, with the European early brass consort Concerto Palatino.

The American Handel Festival 2011
Sweet Bird Classics is bringing the 30-year-old American Handel Festival to Seattle in March 2011. This is a three-week, citywide festival, incorporating some 25 concerts and a host of lectures, symposia, and educational activities.
